AT&T's "The Last Text" Texting & Driving Documentary


Welcome to the Internet home of the Mansfield Fire Department in Mansfield, Missouri. Home of Laura Ingall's Wilder (Where the "Little House" books were written) The dept is a combination fire dept that currently staffs a paid firefighter Mon-Fri from the hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. We currently have (34) paid per call volunteers on our roster. The dept is lead by Chief Byron Clark, Deputy Chief Garland Fitzhugh, and Deputy Chief Mike Carter and is governed by Mayor Blake Miller and a (4) person Board of Alderman. We currently have 1 station that houses 11 pieces of apparatus. Apparatus and Equipment includes: 

2 - Engines                                1 - Support Vehicle

1 - Heavy Rescue Engine            1 - Chief's Vehicle

2 - Tankers                               1 - Public Education Trailer                                

2 - Brush Trucks                       1- Light Rescue
